1– My routine as a waiter.
I am a Brazilian waiter working in a busy restaurant. My daily routine starts with setting up (arrumar/organizar) the tables and making sure everything is clean and ready for customers (clientes).
I greet the guests (convidados) with a smile and show them to their seats (os levo aos seus lugares). Then, I take their orders (anoto os pedidos), writing everything down carefully. Since we get (recebemos) many tourists, knowing how to speak English is very helpful.
Throughout (durante) the day, I serve food and drinks, making sure everyone is happy with their meals. I also handle (lido com) any special requests (pedidos) or problems that come up (surgir/aparecer). At the end of their meal, I bring the bill (conta) and hope to earn (ganhar) good tips (gorjetas) for my service.
After my shift (turno) , I clean up and get ready for the next day. It’s a busy job (trabalho agitado/corrido) , but I enjoy meeting new people and practicing my English.

I had a wonderful experience at the restaurant yesterday. The waiter was very friendly and professional. He greeted us with a smile and spoke excellent English. He took our orders (anotou nossos pedidos) perfectly and made sure we were happy with our meals. His service was quick and efficient. We even left him a generous tip because of his outstanding (excepcional) service. I highly recommend (recomendo muito) this place because of the great service.

I went to the restaurant with my boyfriend, and we had a fantastic time. The waiter was incredibly friendly and spoke great English.
